It's Been A While

Thanks to all for your support during the Amsterdam Dance Event. It has been very busy since, and will continue to be busy until the end of the year. But we've got some exciting stuff coming up for you in 2011. For now we continue our winning streak of DJ-Mixes. TWR72 Wins Dinosaurs With Guns Remix Compettion

Instant Replay's producers duo TWR72 have been chosen by the Sound Pellegrino team as winners in their Dinosaurs With Guns Remix Competition. This Teki Latex track has been filling up dance floors since WMC in Miami earlier this year, and will see it's second coming with this remix package. Needless to say were very happy for Roger and Tom to be included on this. Happy, but not surprised, TWR72's next single Tunnel is also charted in the SP Summer Chart (as well as many other charts). These two are on a roll and we will soon witness their live debut at the infamous Valtifest in Amsterdam

TWR72 Shock

After fine tuning their tracks in the latter parts of 2009, TWR72 will release their first EP at the end of May 2010. Get ready to be Shocked. This 4 track EP is the first in what looks like a long string of upcoming releases.

Already heavily supported by dj’s like Laidback Luke, who’s a big fan of TWR72’s very tight production skills, Zombie Nation, Tommie Sunshine, Mehdi, Tom Trago, The Mightyfools and many other peak-time housemeisters.

TWR72 a further introduction

With a friendship longer than ten years, The Walk and Rogerseventytwo started to work together as dj’s in the summer of 2004. Soon gigs followed in the Netherlands, including the big festivals, Prague, Paris, Copenhagen, Bratislava, Berlin, Freiburg and London.

In 2007 they launched AMSTEREO, their own club night in one of the most outstanding clubs at that moment in the city of Amsterdam: The Flex Bar. Teenage Bad Girl, Les Petits Pilous, Aysam, Danger, Breakbot, Djedjotronic, Hey Today!, and Scenario Rock came to join the line-up in the first, very successful editions. Their name, as dj-duo as well as individual dj’s grew rapidly in Holland and the rest of Europe. It was in 2008 when Erol Alkan himself dubbed these guys as the ones to watch in the future. And he his right.

After several remix duties for friends and their extended Amstereo family, Roger and Tom decided to change their name to TWR72 and focus more on producing tracks rather than dj-ing. Needless to say they are still in high demand as dj’s but they took a couple of months of the produce tracks. With interest from such diverse labels as DJ Chuckie’s Dirty Dutch, GLDJ’S and Magnetron Music, they decided to sign with new label Instant Replay.

After TWR72 had blessed us with one of the most banging remixes of the year so far (their B.R.U.C.E. Remix), it's now time for TWR72 to release their own tracks. The Shock EP is the first in a long line of TWR72 releases to come. Trust us, they will get even better than this one!

Parra for The Fader

Parra; friend, artist extra-ordinaire, generous designer of our logo and member of Le Le, just returned from his trip to L.A.

While he was there, he made a very nice mix for The Fader magazine, to accompany his solo art-show at the HVW8 gallery. Next to some rare Le Le remixes and Parra-edits of very obscure Italo classics, he sneaks in a couple of future Instant Replay releases.
